$1500 Tax Credit to Upgrade Heating / Cooling Equipment Ends December 31stNews: $1500 Tax Credit to Upgrade Heating / Cooling Equipment Ends December 31st
Indianapolis, Indiana: December 21, 2010 - The Federal Tax Credit on energy-efficient heating and cooling equipment ends on December 31st. The Residential Renewable Energy Tax Credit, based on the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, provides Indiana homeowner for up to a $1,500 tax credit for the purchase of qualified heating, cooling and ventilation products. To qualify, items must be purchased and installed by December 31, 2010. But that doesn't mean that the procrastinators out there have totally lost out. While not quite as liberal as the current program, the Federal government will still provide some assistance to help you upgrade your heating and/or air conditioning system.
Thiele Heating & Air Conditioning still has a good supply of heating and air conditioning systems, heat pumps, humidifiers and other ventilation equipment that qualify for the tax credit. But homeowners need to act quickly before the program ends. Learn more:
